Job Description:This position requires handling of all direct and indirect production purchases in with also special focus on all transactions in ERP system. It involves in interdepartmental co-ordinations with Finance, IT and stores. Interacting with vendors and Sub contractors. Direct Purchase : Buying Objective * Scrutinizing Quotations, Price negotiations with suppliers and releasing the Purchase Orders. * Selection of Vendors for every purchase to improve the quality, service & amp amp reduce the cost. * Standardization of prices. Indirect Purchase : Consumable stock maintenance and follow up with supplier. * Releasing delivery schedules to suppliers for supply of regular consumable items to meet the production target. * Releasing Import & amp amp Local Purchase Orders / Work Orders / AMCs * Procuring of materials on time to meet the production volume. OTC Related transactions : .Carrying out ERP entries in SAP system . Releasing Purchase order from Daman . Invoicing from RPI to customers. Maintenance of all the records Inter Departmental Co-ordination : GRN Ledger verification and Invoice matching with P.O. & amp amp GRN. *Bills / Invoices verification & amp amp forwarding the same to Finance Dept. for payment. * Cost Saving through local source development for Imported Items Coordinating with IT on ERP activities. Co-ordination with Quality, production and planning on rejections and shortages Communication : Should have good communication skills with customers and Vendors. Should clearly communicate on vendor quality rejections. Logistics : Co-ordinate, dispatches with the vendors and CHAs Generating local invoices and packing lists.
