Job Description:HIL Validation Engineer DEP-USA is seeking a skilled HIL (Hardware In Loop) Modeling and Validation Engineer for the electrification team in product development.The HIL Engineer is responsible for the design, modeling and development of the hardware/software platform for HIL test benches. The job responsibilities will include identifying attributes of hardware signals, defining and debugging interfaces between the components of an electric scooter. And it will involve defining signal conditioning requirements. Responsibilities And Duties Develop HIL test procedures and scripts for validation of connectivity,and safety EE systems on HIL test platformsand complete test results in the DVP R format. Develop and maintain Hardware-in-the-loop test environment per development needs and validation for autonomous scooter. Develop behavior and plant models using Matlab Estimation and test plan strategies development Develop validation scripts Develop validation framework and implement test automation for an electric scooter and Safety EE systems test platform Design of automated test scripts Responsible for bench set up and test equipment procurement Involve in hardware and software selection Responsible for test time cycles reduction and efficiency actions implementations Management of all test verification aspects Report issues found during test rounds following standards Basic Qualifications: MS. Or PhD EE candidate in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited university Solid understanding of system engineering principles, hardware design concepts Minimum of 3 years of industry experience (Automotive is a plus) in HIL domain Demonstrated knowledge of scripting languages such as Pytho A minimum of 3 years in Matlab and Simulink. model development and simulation expertise Minimum of 1 year experience in the following scripting languages: CAPL, XML, Embedded C Preferred Automotive electrification experience For system level modelling Basic knowledge of CAD CreO. .
